God is LOVE! Love Eradicates Fear……

This year should not reflect your last year, especially if you are determined to move forward. It’s time to step out of the box and believe God for more increase in your life, more spiritual Growth, more Rhema word, more vision, more ideas, more boldness, more character building and more love.

Rhema word- in Greek it means “an utterance” it’s hearing the word of God. The way to hear the word of God more clearly is to read the bible and learn more about the Lord and His calling in your life.

If we are not walking in love we should consider how we are coming to God because God is love and only operates in Love.

Check yourself if you are walking and operating in Strife, hate, unforgiveness and anger. Get rid of that so you can work in the love of God.

Does everyone know that you are a child of God? Do they know because you say it or because you live it?

I have met people in my life that tell me they are a child of God in almost every conversation I’ve have with them. Then I see a total different outcome in their behavior. I realized very quickly that if someone always has to announce they are a child of God its because it’s not obvious or evident in their lives. Essentially they want you to see what they say but not to see what they do…. sounds like hypocrisy to me… What do you think?

I strongly feel that if you are walking in the Love of God, the words do not need to be spoken because it is felt by believers and non believers. Love is transcendent, it’s universal, it’s tangible, it’s effective and it’s well received because all can relate.

Philemon 1:4-6
4-7Every time your name comes up in my prayers, I say, “Oh, thank you, God!” I keep hearing of the love and faith you have for the Master Jesus, which brims over to other believers. And I keep praying that this faith we hold in common keeps showing up in the good things we do, and that people recognize Christ in all of it. Friend, you have no idea how good your love makes me feel, doubly so when I see your hospitality to fellow believers.

1 John 4:7-18
7-10My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.
11-12My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love!
13-16This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God.

Love does not want you tormented. It is there to free you of fear, torment, worry and judgment free.

To Love, to Be Loved
17-18God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and matures in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life, fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.

So how do we overcome and become love and walk in love?
One simple answer… Faith and Obedience.
1 John 2:5
But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him.

Are you walking in Love?
Are you walking in some sort of fear?
Are you obedient to God and His word?
Are you claiming something different for this year?
