To be Satisfied

Satisfy
1. Filled with satisfaction; content: a very satisfied customer.
2. Paid or discharged in full, as a debt or obligation.
3. Convinced beyond a doubt.
Are you satisfied/content with your life?
When you think about being satisfied, what do you think makes you satisfied?
How are you satisfied right now, at this moment in your life?
What was my relationship with Jesus like today? Does this affect the way I feel about being satisfied in my life?

Exp. I know for me that when I am not in a place that I haven’t been spending time with God or praying or seeking his advice, that day just doesn’t seem complete to me and I feel dissatisfied. I measure my satisfaction on that day or moment by my relationship with God that day.

Has God blessed you and you are so happy that He delivered you?
Are you aware of His mercy and kindness everyday that keeps you in one piece?
When things are great do you forget about your Lord and that he is there? Are you only in communication when you feel that your circumstances are not where they should be? Or vice versa….. Do you forget about the Lord or get angry with Him when things are bad? And love and adore him when things are Great in your eyes?

We can deceive ourselves into thinking we know what satisfaction is. We pray for exactly what we think and “know” we need. Just like eating for example we can fill ourselves past the point of satisfaction and we become so accustomed to it that it becomes something we just do. This could be with anything we do too excessively because we think it will satisfy us when in reality its hurting us. We need to seek balance to be satisfied, the best way to find this balance is by seeking what God wants for your life and not forgetting He brings true satisfaction not based on emotions or lies but based on truth..
Hosea 13:4-6
4 “But I am the LORD your God,
who brought you out of Egypt.
You shall acknowledge no God but me,  no Savior except me.
5 I cared for you in the desert,  in the land of burning heat.
6 When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me.

Vs, 5 He cared for you even in the midst of your circumstances and was there when you needed him to pull you through.
Vs. 6He will give you his word and feed it to you so that you are satisfied and can keep going to win the race. Often times when God does this for us, we slowly tend to forget and keep moving on with our lives until we hit another wall.

Matthew 14:19-21
19And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20They all ate and were satisfied and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

You see God will not only give you what you need to be satisfied but he will give you so much more so that you can give what the Lord has given you to others. He will fill you so much that it will be overflowing. When you have faith and are satisfied with what the Lord has, is and will do for you, you will have enough in life to not only take care of your needs but also for others who are in need of what you have received.

So if you are satisfied, I encourage you to stay as much as you can in the state of satisfaction with God being the center of it..

If you are not satisfied I encourage you to check and see how you are viewing things and if your perspective should change or if you should change a dynamic in your life that would help you to become satisfied with your path.

Perspective 1.a way of regarding situations or topics etc.; “consider what follows from the positivist view”
2. the appearance of things relative to one another as determined by their distance from the viewer
