God Has the Answer!

Seriously He really does!

Because of our own limits we tend to set limits on God. We put Him in our own boxes and then wonder why we are not seeing supernatural results.

Sometimes we may feel, if we don’t get our hopes up than we won’t be disappointed..

The truth is that in that mindset we are constantly disappointed because we are setting up limits and walls and not striving for more or believing in more.

Let’s use work as an example: if you hate your job but it pays well, your comfortable there or you feel that there is nothing better out there than this job, than you settle and possibly stay hating it all the way until retirement and never taking a leap of faith to experience something new and possibly doing what you were created for.

I feel like life is too short for misery and despair. I read an article once that said that they interviewed many elderly people and asked them what is their biggest regret… they all said that they didn’t do what they really wanted to do, they did what others wanted them to do.

We are fortunate in that whatever we feel or are going through God understands and He wrote a book about it…… The Bible, you should read it it’s really good…. 🙂

The Bible is our life instructions. Just like appliances or furniture you have to put together like IKEA, they all come with instructions. Well the Bible has life instructions and applications. Use the Bible as your life operation manual.

Your life and my life would run smoother for sure if we applied the knowledge in this book, instead of trying to build out our lives ourselves. Believe me I have tried for 30+ years and it doesn’t work. Like the IKEA furniture I try to build it by looking at it, I end up with extra pieces, it doesn’t look straight and it always falls apart eventually. You may be more handy than me and able to put it together for a little while but it’s never as perfect as the manufacturer designed it to be unless you read all the details and instructions.. God wants to build you as perfect as He designed you to be.

God has the answer!!!

You say: Nobody loves me

His word says:

  • John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
  • John 17:23 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
  • Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

You say: I just can’t go on

His word says:

  • 2Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

God will help you go on and His Strength is perfect.

You say: I don’t have enough faith

His word says:

God gives all of us a measure of faith!

  • Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

You say: I am worried and frustrated

His word says:

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

God is the answer! He is trying to reprogram us from all the wrong thinking and lessons we have learned in the world. He has been downplayed and ridiculed for too long. If you seek you will find it in Him.
