Item Details:
4130LN-S is a low alloy steel, composite metal cored electrode for gas-shielded arc welding of 4130,4140,8630, and similar alloy steels that are to be post weld heat treated. This electrode is designed to meet the properties of quenched and tempered steels, and therefore should not be used for as-welded applications. 4130LN-S is intended to be welded with a neutral flux, such as ARCFLUX BF-10MW.

- Produces beads with easily removable slag and clean, even toe lines
- Contains <1% Ni, making it suitable for most sour service applications
Applications
- 4130LN-S is best suited for joining low alloy steels such as 4130,4140, or 8630 with the submerged arc process.
- This product is designed to only be used when post weld heat treating when post weld heat treating will be implemented.
