How’s that working for you?
Have you tried everything? Maybe you haven’t tried to visualize, claim, meditate on, put it in the atmosphere, grab it, move faith in it and everything you can think of and know how to do from all the gurus and the courses offered out there.
It all seems to be working for a while…. Then just moments later the high goes away. And you are left feeling like you still don’t have the results you want and feel frustrated, angry, hopeless or just nothing.
Life is still coming at you and these things don’t happen to be working like you thought.
Maybe it’s you? Maybe you’re doing something wrong or you don’t have enough faith in the process.
Why are you not rich yet? Why don’t you have that career yet? Why are you still in debt? Why are these relationships going so badly? Why am I not losing this weight? Why am I feeling depressed, anxious, worried, in fear etc?
I actually heard an ad say it’s because you are not sleeping well and you are blocking the process for you to get the things you want….
That’s pure hogwash. I think we have been sold bull crap for so long we can’t see the truth anymore. We go on to trying just one more thing. Then you see a small inkling of progress and yes this must be it!!!!
But very shortly after even this fails you.
I’ve realized that this entire mindset is focused on ME. It’s all about me! The foundation of this mindset is all about me. That’s a horrible foundation, when it’s all about us. It’s not solid. We are on shaky ground when we think this way.
What can I have, what can I be, what can I do, how do I look, how do I win, how do I overcome.
The “what about me” mentality has got to stop. We have gotten to the point where we don’t even want to do anything for anyone unless it benefits us in some way.
I’m seeing this everywhere, it happens in church, in business, in the home, and just about everywhere humans are present …lol
The straight truth is you need to change your mindset. We are selfish. We are so focused on what is going to be given to us and how we will get ahead we become self-consumed and implode.
We can act self-less and be selfish, it doesn’t work, it comes off as disingenuous.
I’ve even had people in church including myself say “you have not because you ask not” we always forget to read the following verse that says, James 4:3 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you mayspend what you get on your pleasures.
Oops forgot to add that… to my name it and claim it mindset. I have literally tried all the methods to get my life back on track in a positive way. Sometimes to the point of ignoring the obvious and take care of it.
I felt in the past, like if I believe it strongly enough andclaim it, it should fix it’s self because the universe will respond…
Well, didn’t always respond, and I was left disappointed and frustrated. See for me, I’m a Christian and I was in the mindset that I can do all things and that because I said it, God should move on my behalf, isn’t that what the word says?…
Many of these belief systems weather you’re a Christian or not teach you that we can use the “power of faith” to create our own reality or get what we want.
All will differ depending on the guru you follow. This becomes a way of controlling the “universal power”, “God”, “thespirits”, “the angels” … to give us what we want.” Faith becomes a force that we can get what we want.
How’s that working for you?
I know many of you will not agree, and maybe be down right angry. I just ask that you look at it with an open mind and heart and be honest with yourself.
It doesn’t work. You can’t have everything you want, everytime you want it, exactly how you want it. it’s not possible and never will be.
Shit happens and life throws a lot of hardballs in our direction, be careful that you are not embracing the false teaching, that our thoughts control reality.
You need to know what foundation you are on, so when things happen, and it will, you are not thrown in every direction and destroyed.
Give everything the same strength, thought, time and determination that you give everything else. I did that with all these mindsets and I did it with Jesus and I finally found the truth. I implore you to do the samething. I want you to be on a real foundation.
